Gin inspired by the discoveries of Dr. Gil, physician on board the ship wrecked in Calabria at the end of the 1800s with Jefferson and Roger on board. the doctor was also an expert alchemist who managed to synthesize the poison of the fatal vipers of Rocca Imperiale. And not only that, Gil is produced through the distillation of 4 main botanicals: juniper from Rocca Imperiale, absinthe, elderberry and angelica. It is then flavored with infusions of IGP lemons from Rocca Imperiale, Bergamot from Pellaro, bitter oranges from Bisignano, oregano from Paola and aloe. The latter are left to infuse for a period of 3-4 months. The result is coarsely filtered through a simple linen cloth to remove only the impurities due to distillation and thus maintain the original color.
