A Grillo wine from Monte Pietroso, on sandy soil. The sea is not too far away, the name indeed refers to it – mare means sea in Italian. It’s the wind from the north, which often blows here, that brings the sea. The altitude of 400 metres above the sea level results in a different Grillo, more complex and elegant.
